Agentic AI tools do more than provide information: they plan, act, retry and adapt with the privileges of the user who launched them. Even a benign task can invoke shells, package managers, downloads and scripts, and blocking one path may cause the agent to try another.
This session examines how agentic AI tools behave when controls are put in place and presents a practical governance model organizations can apply: discover the tools in use, standardize approved platforms, govern permissions, restrict unnecessary capabilities, and monitor activity.
The goal is not to predict every workaround. It is to make trust explicit: define and coach agents so they stay in their lane, while enforcing endpoint controls around them.
