Patrick Van Zandt is a Principal Technical Success Engineer at Airlock Digital and an experienced endpoint security practitioner specializing in application control and the practical implementation of security technologies at enterprise scale.
Patrick has more than 25 years of experience in customer-facing technology and consulting roles and has worked in endpoint security since 2013, beginning with Bit9, later Carbon Black, and subsequently Deep Instinct, before joining Airlock Digital as its first US-based employee. Prior to moving into cybersecurity, he worked at IBM Rational Software in pre- and post-sales roles focused on the software development lifecycle and automated testing.
Throughout his career, Patrick has helped large and complex enterprises deploy, operationalize, and mature security technologies. His work today combines hands-on consulting with technical writing and public speaking, with a particular interest in automation, scripting, REST APIs, and making strong security controls practical and sustainable in real-world enterprise environments.
