New in Airlock Digital v6.1.3
More Flexible Exception Workflows
Application control is particularly effective when exception handling is both governed and practical. In Version 6.1.3, Airlock Digital expands exception request workflows, so organizations can connect approvals and reviews into the operational processes they already use.
With this enhancement:
- Administrators can receive email alerts when a new exception request is submitted
- Exception requests can be approved or denied through URL-based workflow
- Configurable webhook templates support integration with ServiceNow, Slack, Microsoft Teams, and other external systems
- Teams can align exception handling with existing service management and approval processes while maintaining accountability and auditability
This makes exception handling easier to operationalize without weakening control. Rather than forcing teams into manual workarounds, Version 6.1.3 gives them more flexible ways to route, review, and act on requests within established workflows.
We expect to build on this foundation in future releases as we continue expanding workflow flexibility across security and IT operations.
Unified Reporting and Visibility
Version 6.1.3 also introduces a new Reporting page that brings key reporting views together into a single experience. Search, Enforcement Readiness, Agents, and Executive Report are now available in one place, making it easier to understand what is happening across the environment. This gives teams clearer visibility into:
- What is trusted and what is running
- How enforcement readiness is progressing
- Where exceptions are occurring
- Agent health, status, and version distribution across the estate
The new Executive Report provides a higher-level view of readiness, execution activity, exceptions, and overall platform health. The new Agents Report gives administrators a clearer picture of agent versions, operating system breakdown, status, and policy group assignment.
Search and Export Built for Scale
Large environments generate large volumes of activity, and Version 6.1.3 improves how Airlock Digital handles that scale.
This release introduces a new bulk CSV export pipeline for search results, with background processing, progress tracking, queuing, and built-in resource controls. Search capability has also been improved to better support large queries and reporting workloads.
Behind the scenes, these improvements are supported by broader query, indexing, and performance enhancements across the platform. The result is a faster, more reliable reporting and investigation experience, especially in larger or more active environments.
Supporting Improvements Across the Platform
Beyond the headline changes, Version 6.1.3 includes a wide range of supporting improvements that strengthen everyday administration and platform reliability, including:
- Improved query responsiveness and handling of large reporting workloads
- Continued UI refinements across the platform
- Product health checks moved to the Server Health page for easier access
- Expanded integration foundations, including the renaming of the Reputation tab to Integrations
- Reliability and performance improvements across Windows, Linux, and macOS agents
- Broad stability and maintenance improvements across server and agent components
A Stronger Operational Foundation
Version 6.1.3 continues Airlock Digital’s focus on making enterprise application control both effective and workable in real operational environments. By improving visibility, strengthening exception workflows, and modernizing search and export, this release helps teams operate with more clarity, flexibility, and confidence.
